PLS Web Services is in the “computer and internet” business. Although that covers quite a bit of territory, PLS caters to the needs of the small business and the individual consumer. “Education” is a big part of our business. People want computers but in many cases don’t know how to use them.
Moreover, in today’s technological world, having and maintaining a productive and profitable “e-pressence” is one of the most important issues facing us in business. The PLS mission is to guide and teach our clients through the process.
PLS feels comfortable in projecting an image that is at the same time professional yet personal. Most people, in business or otherwise, want to know that you know what you are doing and want you to hold their hand. They want to be comfortable.
PLS wants to project the ability to make them “live in that comfort level” where computers computer training and the internet is concerned.
The only real “product” sold at PLS is expertise. We don’t inventory anything. We can get a client a computer. We can get a client appropriate software. We cn create, design, maintain and host a web site as well as provide the emarketing support.. And of course we can provide the training and any follow up support needed.
Where necessary, we can develop and install our own software to the client’s specification. PLS believes that client satisfaction is paramount. We go to great lengths to see that this is accomplished.
Since PLS caters to a varied clientele and offers a variety of services, we find it difficult to compare ourselves to the “competition”. But that is indeed one area of comparison. In general, the services we offer are: Help in selecting computer hardware and software, installation and upgrade of hardware and software, customized software development, computer (hands on) training, mailing list and data base management, as well as all aspects of web site development and implimentation as well as various ecommerce and emarketing functions…
